Loudoun County, VA (January 19, 2024) – The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) has charged a Broadlands man with Trespassing and Wearing a Mask on Private Property following an investigation into a series of suspicious incidents that occurred on the 15000 block of Berlin Turnpike in Purcellville.
Reyan H. Ibrahim, 25, was charged with Trespassing and Wearing a Mask on Private Property. Property owners reported that a man entered the property and attempted to gain access to their animals on January 12 and was asked to leave. Later that evening, the owners discovered two deceased ducks on their property. On January 13, the owners found a masked male entering their property who appeared to be the same one from the day prior, and he was again asked to leave. The LCSO was contacted on January 14 after the owners read about other suspicious incidents involving a similarly described man approaching animals.
Mr. Ibrahim was identified during the course of the LCSO investigation, and it was determined that he had been arrested by another jurisdiction for an incident in Falls Church. Mr. Ibrahim is being held at the Arlington County Adult Detention Center on no bond.
Concurrent with its own investigation, the LCSO coordinated with Loudoun County Animal Services, which has concluded its investigation.
